the end

It was with those words that my journey through the Twilight Saga ended this afternoon around 12:15. I won't ruin it for those of you who haven't had the opportunity to read, but may I say...

"Shame on You".

You must run, not walk to the nearest book retailer or amazon.com and get these delicious morsels. Then you too will be part of one big happy family.

What will I do with myself now that I'm finished? I'm glad you asked.

I will:
*get back to being a good parent and stop ignoring my child.
*get back to being a good wife and stop ignoring my husband.
*clean my nasty house that I abandoned four books ago.
*actually take a shower before 1pm
*return to my "strict" exercise regimen

So, I will eagerly anticipate the arrival of November 21st, because lest you need reminding, that is when we will see him...

(I am fully aware that this is the same picture I posted yesterday)

Have another round for good measure!

YAY!! I'm first.

I'm glad you're finished. I, too, am now waiting for the movie. And I think we should all go to Lula's house and spend the night since she started all this that is Twilight

Christmas break plans: read Twiilight series :).

Y'all talked me into it.....but I have to wait for school to be done!

I did it. I succumbed. I went out and bought book 1 on Thursday. It took me seven hours to read. It was That. Good. I'm trying to hold off on buying number two so I can maybe get it from the library and then ask for my own copy for Christmas. It's official. I'm hooked.

Oh my Edward....I can't believe you're done! It's awesome, huh?

Have you seen the new trailer? I almost called you, but I'll wait until Monday. When the kids are down for a nap. They are climbing all over me today.

So what did you think of that twist in Breaking Dawn? Crazy, huh?

I think we should totally make it a whole day. Get together and meet, then see the movie, then go to dinner so we can dish on the movie. And we should dress up, because this is THE Event. Capital letters, baby. Not costumy dress up, but looking our sparkly best.

And, so far, everyone else is an Esme. I am the lone Bella.

I still need to get into this Twilight thing. I'm ashamed to say that I'm woefully behind!

I'm glad you liked the books. Twilight just didn't do anything for me...and the movie Edward? Not only is he not attactive to me...he pretty much creeps me out. So not my type! You'll have to let me know what you think of the movie.

Seriously?

I have been waiting with baited breath for you to announce to the world (via your blog) that you were the lone woman on earth who has read the books and hated them. OK, maybe not hate them, because that's such a strong word.

But, seriously?

Vampires and all that hype freaks me out. No Harry Potter going on around here.

Glad you enjoyed yourself, though. That's the main thing.

And I do trust and value your opinion, Friend-in-My-Computer (FiMC). And I won't begrudge anyone who reads the books.

Reading makes one literate.

I am pro literacy.

No books were harmed in the writing of this comment.
