(almost) wordless wednesday

(narrator: hushed male voice with British accent)

Here we see the strange creature emerging from hibernation - the remnants of its pre-hibernation plunder in its hands.

Uh-oh, looks like he's spotted us. Refrain from looking directly in his eyes...he has been known to steal socks.

This could be the answer to the question that has haunted us all for years now.

Have we finally discovered the dreaded sock monster?

IT's a little like watch "Search for Nessie" on the Discovery channel... only WAY cuter.

DUDE!!!!

I have said for years that there's a mystical force living inside my w/d that eats socks. Who knew it was your redhead all this time?

And...ahem...where is his protective headgear? This is an accident waiting to happen, Caroline!

Totally off the subject of the cute sock snatcher, but I think we may have the same dryer.....:) Oh and your laundry room looks way cleaner than mine.
That is the cutest, sneakiest little sock monster with a silky I have ever seen.....

That is priceless!

That is TOO cute. And yes, I think that might possibly be your sock monster.

Maybe he is also working undercover as the elusive Underwear Gnome? Who knew?
Adorable!

I think he may be hiding out in my laundry room also!!

see if he's got an argyle and a 'toe' sock in his stash...been missing those since 1975.

I love it- and I know you can rest better at night knowing who the sock monster REALLY is :)

Why do kids love that place so much. I also think that I have one of those sock monsters lurking in my house. That is the kids favorite place to hide for hide-n-seek. What a darling boy he is....

I love the narrative. Yes, I did read it with the accent.

Heather said...

Oh my word...that is SO cute!

I tried to email you but I typed in the wrong address and it came back and now I can remember what I said except that I think I was excited to meet you. Sigh. Less than a month away!

The redhead is adorable. I did once have a friend who stuck her sister in the dryer and turned it on! She only went around a few times before the mom came in!

He just blew his cover!

Is THIS where all those socks go? The kids have just taken to wearing mismatched socks, because we always end up losing one or two to the Dreaded Sock Monster!
