Bathtime Chuckles

One of Wesley's favorite things to do is to take a bath. In fact, "bap" (bath) was his first word. Bathtime is so sacred around the Gilmore household that we can't even utter the word until the moment we are ready to strip and dunk the child into the tub. Otherwise, he throws himself into a tizzy and cries until he enters the water. Wesley is in his own world in the bathtub. Adam and I serve no purpose during bathtime other than to prevent accidental drowning. On this particular evening, Wesley discovered that some of his same old boring bath toys could actually do new and exciting things. The toys in the video are little squirt animals, but Wesley never realized he could squeeze them until now. I had the privilege of seeing my child discover something new out of something ordinary and enjoy a good hearty laugh while doing so.
